Dubai firm for 500 MW power plant in India
ETA-Ascon Group is studying the possibility of entering India's power sector with a 500 MW power plant on the country's east coast. "We are looking at starting with a build, operate and transfer (BOT) project on India's east coast. The project is currently under study," Hameed Salahuddin, director of the Dubai-based group said. "India's power needs are mounting every year and we would like to contribute to the sector's growth," he added.
